Our Grooming Services

Grooming is an important part of pet care. Depending on the breed, age, and health of your pet, grooming may even need to be a part of you and your pet’s daily routine. Many breeds require less grooming than this, but regular grooming always helps to keep your pet healthy and comfortable. Some breeds like Poodles don't shed their hair effectively and require grooming by a professional every 6-8 weeks. Long haired cats can particularly benefit from regular grooming as it helps prevent the formation of knots in the coat and hairballs in the stomach.

In general terms, a clean pet is a happy pet. If left unattended matted hair, will form causing severe discomfort and pain with the potential for skin conditions to develop. Mats are the perfect environment for fleas to hide in. Your dog's coat condition plays an important role in helping regulate their body temperature, as well as providing a protective barrier against bacteria entering the body.
Grass seeds will not be easily detected if your pets coat isn't maintained, undetected grass seeds can lead to abscesses and severe infection.

Benefits of pet grooming include;

  • A pet that looks and smells nice all the time, plus your best friend will be free from discomfort, feel great and behave well.
  • Reduced risk of eye, ear, skin, teeth and nail infections, ensuring your pet is free from pain and disease!
  • Easy vet checks as your pet will be more comfortable and used to being handled, especially around the face, feet and tail.
  • Increased sociability as grooming becomes a positive experience and easy for both you or your groomer and your pet.
